Maon is making progress, despite corona. We developed, tested and deployed a web interface for the processing of flow-based market coupling data. In addition to import and export, all input files can now also be viewed, created and edited via browser.
Besides the interface, the simulation efficiency was increased and algorithms for the aggregation of modelled components were implemented. Our users will receive the extension in mid-September. Thereby, simplified and Europe-wide annual models can be calculated in under five minutes. This enables the Monte Carlo method and the derivation of probabilistic measurements for the security of supply.
In order to implement feature requests more quickly, we are searching for new members in our software development team. We look forward to applications!
